Exciting Times for Connect Langley Properties

Connect Langley has undergone some major renovations since late April of this year.  The 3 main projects are now in their final phases, and Connect Langley will soon be back to business as usual with more capacity and improved environments for our residents, their families and our employees.  We would like to thank John Kits, Designer extraordinaire, Keith Kowlson, General Contractor bar none and all the sub trades who have worked tirelessly to bring our vision to reality. Keith and his crew did everything they could to minimize the projects' impact on residents and staff. A big thanks also to our residents and our employees for their patience and understanding during this time of organized chaos.  Cheers to you all.

What has changed you might ask?

Project #1 involved renovations to an accessory building behind West House.  What was once an old carriage house that was used primarily for storage and reluctantly for education sessions and staff meetings is now a fully transformed and very cool place we are now very proud of.  The old carriage house is now used as a place to workout, a place to learn, a place to gather and is also a place for residents to be involved in woodworking and art projects, hobbies and other trades. This new space has a very contemporary yet comfortable feel lots of natural light, progressive interior finishings and a very cool and unique floor.

Project #2 involved the conversion of the garage at West House into a larger dinning area and kitchen, an additional bedroom and a den.  The updated floors and interior finishings has been a welcomed change for West House.

Project #3 is the most substantial of them all that included an addition onto East House; the first home CONNECT opened way back in 1996.  This project will be complete by the end of September.  When its all said and done we will have added 2 additional bedrooms to East House, a family room and a washroom.  The addition looks like it was meant to be and is part of the original design of the house. Once this project is completed we will also enjoy a larger great room, a redesigned patio and sidewalk, new windows throughout the house and a new high efficiency forced air furnace.  Overall East House is more spacious, brighter, warmer and fully accessible.

Again thank you to everyone for their patience during these projects!
