Not only does the mother of three work at CONNECT Hamilton helping people redesign their lives after brain injury and stroke, but Denise is successfully educating people in Hamilton about homelessness and human trafficking through a foundation she started three years ago.

This may not seem like front page news, but when Colin, who moved into CONNECT Hamilton in late October, tried some soup recently, the whole building celebrated it as a Life Redesign moment.

Over her 19-year career, Sheila Baird has never dreaded getting out of bed to come to work at CONNECT.

There were many smiles (and maybe a tear or two) as CONNECT Hamilton welcomed its first resident, Lacey, today.
