Loop the Lake Unites the Team

Loop the lake participants from CONNECT Lake Country included coaches, leaders and the people we support after brain injury and stroke and their families

A little rain didn’t stop one of the most beloved events at CONNECT Lake Country from happening.

Loop the Lake, an event organized and attended by the people we support, coaches and leaders of CONNECT Lake Country, took place Sept. 15.

A number of our new CONNECT Parksville coaches, who were in Lake Country as part of their orientation, attended the event.

A moment that stood out was when an individual we support, who participated in a wheelchair last year, independently walked across the finish line. Witnessing that milestone was a highlight of the day.

Thank you everyone who walked, volunteered, cheered and embraced the rain with us.

Looking forward to next year.
